Sunni Scholar: Iranian unity stuns the world

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “What surprised the world nowadays is the standing unity and rapprochement among Iranian Muslims,” Sunni Scholar of Bojnourd, Abdol Aziz Akhound Davari, said. The Sunni scholar in an interview called on Iranian people from different denominations to keep their unity and proximity.Abdol Aziz Akhound Davari underscored, “if we can live together these days without any problem and reach many achievements and progress in different realms and arenas, it is because of the standing unity and rapprochement among Sunni and Shia scholars in Iran.”“The existing unity and rapprochement among Iranians from different denominations turned this country to a paragon for other Islamic societies in the world,” Abdol Aziz Akhound Davari pointed out.“Muslims indebted their dignity and achievements to the issue of unity,” said the Islamic scholar.The Sunni Scholar of Bojnourd went on,” for increasing rapprochements among Muslims, it is incumbent upon them to be aware and cognizant of the machinations hatched by the enemies of Islam.”“The Prophet of Islam (PBUH) also urged Muslims to be close to each other, refraining from division and dispersion in the Islamic Society,” Abdol Aziz Akhound Davari underscored.The Sunni scholar mentioned that if Muslims want to keep their unity, they also have to abide by the Islamic Rules and teachings.“It is the duty of Muslim to follow the lifestyle of Islam Prophet (PBUH) and also abide by the orders of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei,” said Sunni Scholar of Bojnourd.“For accomplishing the Islamic aims and goals, Muslims should resort to the holy book of Quran, considering the teachings and rules of it in their lives,” Abdol Aziz Akhound Davari pointed out./129
